Where it all began
Here at Thunder our two favourite things are vodka (no surprise there) and sweet desserts (probably no surprise there either)!
After all, Thunder is famous for its Toffee Vodka. Back in the 80s and 90s, Thunder founder Jon Lilly was the bar manager at the renowned G-Jays bar in Val d'Isère. It was here that Jon honed his mixology skills, creating a range of experimental vodka infusions that ensured G-Jays was packed to the gills with the apres-ski party crowd every night.
Now back to our two favourite things… we gave ourselves the challenge of creating a drink that would satisfy the cravings of all the boozy, creamy pud lovers out there, just like us.
In fact, we created something so sublime, so pleasurable and so heavenly we called it Frejya’s Crema Custard Liqueur, after the most sensual and passionate goddess in Norse mythology.

CREAMY TOFFEE & CUSTARD COCKTAIL
This cocktail was created for us by Mixologist Brett Conell who originally named it Toffee Cream, after trying it we changed the name to Cloud nine because it tastes so beautiful. It is our only cocktail so far that includes ice-cream and it is a great alternative to a dessert.

'THUNDER'S RHUBARB & CUSTARD MARTINI'
Thunder’s Rhubarb and Custard Martini is a unique twist on the classic Martini. This sweet and creamy drink is great for after dinner as a dessert cocktail. The mixture of rhubarb and custard is a boozy twist on everyone's favourite childhood sweets.
