Rhubarb & Ginger is the masterly creation of Jon Lilly, inventor and founder of the famous Thunder Toffee Vodka.
Back in the 80s and 90s, Jon was bar manager at the renowned G-Jays bar in Val d'Isère. It was here that he first started experimenting with unusual natural flavour combinations, delicately infusing them into premium vodka to produce deliciously exotic drinks that packed a punch.
Rhubarb & Ginger was a G-Jays favourite - the fruity tartness of rhubarb combined with the heat of fresh ginger proved irresistible to the apres-ski crowd.
Jon and the team at Thunder have now recreated this ‘altitude with attitude’ taste sensation, to be enjoyed by anyone, anywhere…. not just for skiers!

Thunder Vodka and Spirit is the culmination of many years of mixing and meticulous preparation. The closely guarded secret recipe produces the perfect symbiosis of distilled wheat grain vodka and a delicate rhubarb and ginger infusion.
Wherever possible, raw materials and production processes are sourced and managed locally. The premium five-times distilled wheat grain vodka is produced and bottled at the Thames Distillery in London.
